2017 Gartner MQ Recognition For Application Security Testing

March 20, 2017 in SiteLock News

We are excited to share that SiteLock has been named to the 2017 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Application Security Testing for the second year in a row! Designed to analyze and test applications for security vulnerabilities, application security testing (AST) is growing faster than any other security market, according to Gartner.

SiteLock was included in the Gartner Magic Quadrant based on its ability to execute and completeness of vision. We believe this positive recognition is attributed to our market presence and unique offering, which consists of multiple tiers of completely automated web application scanning services, including static application security testing (SAST), dynamic AST (DAST) and network vulnerability scanning.

We credit our demonstrated ability to provide malware detection and automated removal services geared toward small and midsize businesses for our favorable distinction within a highly competitive market. We also believe our innovative proactive risk score analysis, a predictive model used to determine a website’s likelihood of attack, earned us additional merit.

“We are honored to be recognized in the Magic Quadrant for Application Security Testing again this year,” notes Neill Feather, president of SiteLock. “The Magic Quadrant is considered the gold standard when it comes to understanding how vendors address key market needs, and our inclusion further validates our offerings in the application security space. We look forward to working with Gartner on more activities that help shape technology and security.”
